KDFL Senior Div Player of the Month – June 2022 - Jack Dooley (Clonmullion AFC)

Jack had a very accomplished underage career before joining Clonmullion. He was an integral part of the first KDUL Under 15 team to reached the Kennedy Cup Final. He also had a year playing with the Carlow/Kilkenny team competing in the League of Ireland Under 17 national league.

Jack has continued from where he left off by having a terrific start to this season when he was an instrumental part of the Clonmullion Senior Divison winning team last year. In fact even though he was the youngest player on the pitch he was awarded the man of the match award by the sponsor of that KDFL Senior Division League play off final.

At just 18 years of age Jack displays a level of maturity in his play that is way beyond his years. He is a fantastic passer of the ball with a great engine and is the ultimate team mate in the role he plays for the team. Very brave, quick and skilful and he has a fantastic future ahead of him in the game. Huge congrats Jack from all of us. Jack came along to the League’s July Council at the Keadeen last evening to accept his awards from Alan Finn (ISRS Kildare Laois Branch Chairman)
