Finally the last award of the evening went to the Managerial duo of Sallins Celtic's Declan Cahill and Darren Power of the Club's Womens team. Huge congrats guys on a job well done. They are pictured here receiving their award for the Manager of the Month September from ISRS KIldare / Laois Branch Chairman Alan Finn at the League's Oct Council in the Keadeen Hotel. Both these Managers have built a strong team with a mixture of experienced players combined with their club’s older underage players. One of the Managers having brough these girls from underage through to senior, he was joined by a senior Manager within the club to great effect.
They have helped create a pathway for girls to play football with their club from academy age to Senior football with the KDFL. Where only two weeks ago captured the first trophy of the 2021 season when they claimed the So Fresh Entertainment Womens Division. They have also reached the Womens Cup semi finals and showing great foresight have entered the Leinster Football Association Junior Cup to bring the team hopefully through to 2022.
