Congratulations - At the Leinster Football Association 129th Annual General Meeting which took place last Saturday morning in the FAI Headquarters Karen Hickey (Asst Secretary and Treasurer of the KDFL) was appointed to the LFA Executive. Becoming the first KDFL member to do so. This was a momentous occasion for the KDFL and Karen as she has become not only the first KDFL member to be appointed to a position on the Executive but also the first female to be appointed to the Executive since the formation of the Association in 1892 (131 years)
KDFL Council Meeting – The June Council meeting of the KDFL will take place this Wednesday 14th June 2023 at 8pm in the Keadeen Hotel. Draws will be made for the Divisional Cups. Presentations will be made for the monthly award winners among other league business. All clubs to send a representative.

FAI ADULT AMATEUR LICENCE COMING SOON course is 6 hours (9.30am – 3.30pm) and includes topics as Session planning, Training Cycle and Football Fitness, Match Day, Systems of Play and Coaching Practices. All enquiries to reginacasey1@yahoo.ie
This course was formally known as the FAI Adult intro. It was postponed by the KDFL late last season due to congestion in the League run in. Please contact the KDFL if you still hold an interest in completing. Partial subsidy to any KDFL member.
FAI REFEREES BEGINNERS COURSE. Expressions of interest please contact reginacasey1@yahoo.ie for further info. In conjunction with the Kildare/Laois Branch of the ISRS the KDFL hope to run a face to face referees beginners course exclusively for KDFL members at a local venue. This course is also partially subsidized by the KDFL to any KDFL member.
