Please feel free to share this with your members or take time out with them to sit down

and watch together. It's approx 40 minutes long but worth the watch. All Paddy's work is

evidence based. This video clip is the second in the series. In this video he explores the

negatives of performance. He looks at how to achieve full potential as players, coaches

and Clubs. Understanding performance psychology will give you the pathway to improve,

Paddy adds. Helping all to improve the energy of the League.

Please feel free to share this link on your social pages and in club/players whatsapp

grounds.

Adrian Melia Photo of the Year Award 2025 : As usual as a mark of respect and in

memory of our dear friend Adrian Melia the KDFL are continuing the tradition of

the Adrian Melia photo of the year Award. To this end for the 2025 season we would

like you to submit photos for shortlisting for the award. The photo can be a still / action /

quirky / funny. It also must be taken by an amateur photographer. It must have been taken

at a KDFL game this season and in true Adrian style above all 'tell a story' !!!! We would

like all submissions to be received on or before Thursday 13th November. So there is

time to trawl through your yearly archive to pick a photo. It must be sent via email to

reginacasey1@yahoo.ie in jpeg or png format.

The winning photo will be framed and presented to the winning Photographer, as Adrian

always did, at our 31st Annual Awards Ceremony in the Keadeen Hotel on Friday 28th

November 2025. There is also a perpetual trophy image below which will be presented to

the winning club. This trophy is a specially commissioned piece by Newbridge Silverware

gifted to the KDFL by Jeannie Frampton RIP. We look forward to receiving your best

shots !!
