Dean Comiskey (Clane United FC)
The Senior Division player of the year goes to a youthful 20 year old. An outstanding talented footballer who came through the ranks of the underage setup and is now flourishing at his progressive club. Now in his third year as a senior player his transition from schoolboy to senior player has been remarkable. From his first games in the second team, helping them win the Division title in 2021 his progression to the senior team were never in question. He was a prominent addition to the senior team during the closing stages of 2021 and capped a fine start to his senior career winning the Senior Cup as his club won it for the first time in their history. His quality on the ball has been to the fore in 2022 and 2023 during which he helped his club reach the Lumsden cup final and finish runners up in the new under 20 competitions. 22 goals in all competitions this season he couples outstanding skills with a fantastic work rate and attitude. He has all the Attributes to be picking up these awards for a long time to come.
